The departments at our Weener paper mill
Since 1958, the Weener Paper Mill has been producing corrugated base papers for Klingele-Werke and customers worldwide.
Production of testliner, fluting, and flexliner in various grammages, as well as specialty papers such as the water-repellent Highsized testliner.
The site’s integrated infrastructure is characterized by its own EBS power plant, biological wastewater treatment, and a wind turbine that has been in operation since 2011.

Energy production on the basis of substitute fuels
In addition to the paper mill, Klingele also operates a power plant in Weener, which has been supplying the paper mill with heat and electricity based on substitute fuels with 34 employees since 2008.
The mill has operates its own wind power plant which supplies emission-free electricity for our paper production as well as local homes and businesses.
Our own power generation capacities cover 90% of the local energy requirements at our paper mill in Weener.
